KoiraKaveri notifications are designed to keep the whole family and care network up to date on your dog's everyday life without unnecessary noise.
The app's smart notification system makes sure important routines are handled and shared memories are seen. Notifications adapt to your needs, so you get information only when it truly matters.
What do you get notifications about?
KoiraKaveri sends notifications only about things that matter for your dog's wellbeing or family communication:
Tasks and routines
You get a reminder when it is time to complete a daily routine, such as feeding or medication.
Health reports
When AI has analysed your dog's data and created a new health report, such as weight or stool quality tracking, you are notified immediately.
Nudges
Family members can send each other friendly reminders. For example, if a walk is still undone, you can ping another user to handle the task.
New memories
You receive a notification whenever a family member or dog sitter adds a new photo or memory from your dog's day.
Sitter Mode events
A notification tells you when a sitter starts or ends a care period, or when the sitter leaves the agreed area.
Training goals
The app reminds you to continue active training modules so you can reach your goals.
Notification customisation and grouping
We want to reduce everyday coordination, not add to it. That is why you can control notifications precisely in settings:
Quiet hours
You can define a time range, such as 22:00-07:00, during which the app sends no notifications. This protects both your and your dog's nighttime rest.
Smart grouping
Too many notifications become noise. KoiraKaveri automatically groups notifications by time of day:
- Morning: 07:00-11:00
- Day: 11:00-15:00
- Afternoon: 15:00-19:00
- Evening: 19:00-22:00
- Night: 22:00-07:00

Check settings to make sure "Tasks and routines" is enabled and that your phone is not within quiet hours.
Can a dog sitter send me nudges?
Yes. If the sitter has been added to your household or has an active Sitter Mode period, they can communicate with you through tasks.
