How do you track it?
You can follow stool quality in several views:
Home screen widget
You can see an overview of your dog's stool quality directly on the home screen.
Health index
In paid versions (Premium and Pro), the widget shows an automatically calculated weekly health index that gives a quick view of your dog's status.
Profile charts
In the dog profile (Menu → Dog Profile), you can review stool quality trends with more detailed weekly and daily charts.
Photo entries
If you save photos with your entries, you can browse them by swiping in the "all entries" list.
Adding a stool entry and defining quality
You can quickly create a new entry either from the home screen plus button (FAB) or from the dog profile.
Six quality levels
Descriptions use six clear levels designed to give a quick overview without unnecessary scientific analysis:
Perfect
Perfect consistency, normal and healthy.
Firm
Clear shape and easy to pick up. Healthy and normal.
Too hard
Dry, pellet-like or crumbly. May suggest dehydration or low fibre.
Soft
Holds shape but is moist and smears when picked up.
Loose
Sticky or mushy, difficult to collect in a bag.
Diarrhoea
Watery or fully liquid, with no solid shape.

Additional details and photos
You can open additional options to add a photo, change the time or mark extra findings such as blood, mucus or foreign objects.
AI and photos
KoiraKaveri's AI features do not analyse the photos themselves. If you want details to appear in health reports or assistant answers, remember to mark stool quality and possible notes as text or selections.
