The Health Diary is KoiraKaveri's most powerful tool for tracking your dog's life cycle. It is not just a list of events, but a smart whole that combines observations, medical documents and medication into one clear history.
You can open the diary by choosing: Home → Menu → Health Diary.
Creating entries and entry types
The diary consists of individual entries, such as notes, symptoms, vet visits or vaccinations. You can create a new entry in three ways:
Manually
Choose the entry type and date, then write a free-form summary of what happened.
AI analysis (documents)
Take a photo of a veterinary diagnosis, for example. KoiraKaveri's AI analyses the text and automatically creates an entry with the key findings and medications.
AI Assistant
Ask the assistant to add an entry: "Add a note: my dog was more tired than usual after today's walk."
Medication management and automation
In KoiraKaveri, medications are always linked to a specific diary entry. This helps you understand later why a certain course of treatment was started.
Adding medication and reminders
When adding a new medication, you can enter the name, dosage and frequency.
- Create reminders: When you select this option, the app automatically creates routines for giving the medicine and reminds you with a notification at the right time.
Medication review - remember what works
When medication ends, either automatically on its end date or when marked manually, the app asks you to fill in a medication review.
- You can record whether the treatment was effective and whether side effects occurred.

Smart medicine information
Need help with a medicine? By pressing the medicine name or question mark in the medication view, the app uses AI to retrieve information about its purpose and provide useful care tips.

You can view ended medications on the "Ended" tab in the medication view and reactivate them if a veterinarian extends the course.
